Biography

I’m an award winning writer-director and filmmaker.

I studied at RADA, receiving further training at the National Theatre as a director and as a writer at Channel 4 (Screenwriter’s Initiative). I was awarded the JB Priestley Prize in 2023 from the Royal Literary Fund and my TV pilot Kitty Fisher was selected by showrunner Stephen Knight as a top script in the first Birmingham Film & TV Market prize in his name.

As a contributing director, my TV credits include work for ITV, Channel 4 and BBC iPlayer. My short film “Dug. Or, The Moral of The Story Is” starring Daniel Portman (GoT, Black Mirror) won the Audience Award Picturehouse CREATE festival 2026 (formerly Sundance, London) and will be screened internationally.

As an associate, staff or assistant director, I have worked for National Theatre, Donmar Warehouse, Soho Theatre, Lyric Theatre, Gate, Headlong and more. I have directed shows for Hampstead Theatre, Southwark Playhouse and Old Vic, receiving four star reviews from the Evening Standard, Independent, Time Out, The Arts Desk and The Times. I have cast for comedy talent like Simon Amstell and regularly support performers behind the scenes.

As a writer, I have received assignments or commissions from BBC Radio 4, Royal Court, Royal & Derngate, HighTide, Headlong and an attachment residency at National Theatre Studio.

Currently: I have various scripted TV ideas in development and one feature.
