I studied at RADA, receiving further training at the National Theatre as a director and as a writer at Channel 4 (Screenwriter’s Initiative). I was awarded the JB Priestley Prize in 2023 from the Royal Literary Fund and my TV pilot Kitty Fisher was selected by showrunner Stephen Knight as a top script in the first Birmingham Film & TV Market prize in his name.
As a contributing director, my TV credits include work for ITV, Channel 4 and BBC iPlayer. My film Fudgeloaf, a microdocumentary about a cabbie, was longlisted for the Netflix documentary fund. I have cast for comedy talent like Simon Amstell and regularly support performers behind the scenes.
As an associate, staff or assistant director, I have worked for National Theatre, Donmar Warehouse, Soho Theatre, Lyric Theatre, Gate, Headlong and more. I have directed shows for Hampstead Theatre, Southwark Playhouse and Old Vic, receiving four star reviews from the Evening Standard, Independent, Time Out, The Arts Desk and The Times.
As a writer, I have received assignments or commissions from BBC Radio 4, Royal Court, Royal & Derngate, HighTide, Headlong and an attachment residency at National Theatre Studio.
Currently, I have various scripted TV ideas in development and one feature. My short film “Dug,” starring actor Daniel Portman will debut at festivals in 2026.
